Avonlea Bay has been a labor of love for me since I moved down to Exodus. With the ongoing renovations to the deed, it’s finally feeling like home and I felt it was time to publish the map to my little piece of Wurm. Avonlea Bay has a peaceful, serene, park-like setting, inspired by estates such as the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina. We have several managed forests on-deed (one can never have too many trees!) and have taken care to make sure that it is as functional as it is beautiful. It truly is a nature lovers paradise!
– The Wild Boar Inn: The blogs namesake is in the final stages of construction! It is open to the public and, once finished, will have nine private rooms as well as an open kitchen and gathering area. Enjoy our forest and seaside views from one of our rooms!
– Meditation Garden: This is the location of two of our known meditation tiles, Love and Knowledge. Come relax in our seaside garden while you consider the things of nature!
– Avonlea Workshop: This building has been recently expanded and we are still working on finishing the interior. Included in the final plans are four forges, two ovens, two looms, containers next to each workstation for personal tools, and plenty of BSBs for our bulk goods and storage.
– Avonlea Shipbuild: Bulk storage for shipbuilding materials.
– Shipbuild Slab: Designated area for construction of ships and water-bound vessels.
– Farm and Breeding Horses: This farm grows Cotton, Wemp, Pumpkins, and other vegetables for Avonlea Bay, and is also the grazing area for Moxie’s breeder speed horses.
– Pasture: This is a soon-to-be enchanted area that houses our horses, cattle, and other animals for sale and village use.
– Avonlea Bay Vineyard: Home of many, many grape plants, as well as several deer.
– Farmland and Storage: This is extra farmland for bulk crop farming, as well as a few extra pens for whatever is needed.
– Avonlea Bay Ironworks: My husband’s special corner of the deed, it is right next to our iron mine and houses two forges as well as BSBs and storage. He also has a well in the area, a fenced area for his workhorses, and garages for his carts.
– Iron Mine: The iron mine has a multiple iron veins of all qualities, and we still have quite a bit of area under our deed that has yet to be touched! All veins have been prospected and signed for quality, and we have a large cavern at the bottom of the mine containing two forges, several BSBs, and naturally occurring shallow water to quench your thirst!
– Silver Mine: Again, we have several silver veins here, with at least one utmost vein. There is also a work area inside the mine with multiple forges and BSBs.
– Planned Dock Area: This project has yet to be started, but is a planned dock area for large boats.
Yellow Area: Planned Phase 2 of the renovations – surface mining our mountain and building Moxie’s Mountainside Manor and Villager Housing! There will be a well on this level for easy water access, as well as several villager houses and private fence/farm areas for each person, all with a beautiful view of the the bay and Avonlea Bay proper!
Pink Areas: Managed Forests. Our forests are very important to us at Avonlea Bay. They form a natural barrier from other deeds and settlements around us, as well as provide resources for our shipbuilding and carpentry needs. Plus they’re pretty and lush! We don’t mind trees being cut when needed, we only ask that you use a sickle to pluck sprouts and replant as you go, and please try not to clearcut huge areas.
